The SIghts Of Lasalette

Recently i went to Lasalette the national shrine of Our Lady of Lasalette. It is a Roman Catholic shrine of Mary and her appearance at a french place called Lasalette. It is just down the street from me and every year since i can remember they have all sorts of lights and fixtures speaking about the birth of Christ.

It is a great place to go because something special happens to people when they go there, they are joyful! Kids are ecsatic! It only takes about an hour and half to see everything but it truly is a place of sanctity from the secular Christmas. It doesn't sell the newest toy or tell you it is the best place to be. I simply expresses and centers itself around Jesus and His birth and how all mankind can celebrate thier freedom in Christ.
