I Think Its About Forgiveness

"If the heart is cleansed by the love of Jesus Christ, and if the heart loves Him, one can resist all tortures. What would a loving bride not do for a loving bridegroom? ...God will judge us not according to how much we endured, but how much we could love. The Christians who suffered for their faith in prisons could love. I am a witness that they could love God and men." -Richard Wurmbrand, Tortured for Christ

Everytime i read anything by Richard Wurmbrand i am brought to shame. This man who suffered greatly for the faith had the ability to love his torturers. After he would be beaten and thrown in his cell, he would pray for them. I read about those things and i see the smallness of my faith
Such an outward example Wurmbrand showed of Jesus words on the cross: 'Father forgive them they don't know what they are doing'

Perhaps Jesus was trying to express without forgiveness there is no love?

perhaps i am making it to simple?

I don't know but, forgiveness is a tall order to live out sometimes.
