Christ and More Christ
It's been a long hard week and many distractions from without and within.I get distracted by so many things within and without but Christ is always present. I imagine (not without good reason) that Jesus feels a bit neglected. I imagine a Bridegroom who cannot get a conversation from his Bride, not to mention attentive intimacy and devotion. She (me) sits at her computer all day, or reads magazines or sleeps or watches television.
Or I go off on a bitchy rant with the "woman" next door.
